Your Credit Union Partner (YCUP) is pleased to announce our first scholarship to support one student to attend the National Credit Union Foundation’s Credit Union Development Education (DE) Training in Madison, Wisconsin this fall. We will award one scholarship on the basis of need, the impact of the program attendance on the credit union and the applicant’s involvement in and commitment to the credit union movement.
Scholarships are available to staff and volunteers. Preference is given to credit unions under $50 million in assets. The current financial position of the credit union will be considered as well.
Applicants must be actively involved in credit union activities. Examples include: regular participation in chapter meetings, committee work, credit union activism, etc.
To ensure a successful application process, review the following important information: Applicants must be currently employed by, or serving on the Board of a credit union that is member of their State League.
YCUP will award (1) full tuition scholarship. The recipient’s credit union will be reimbursed after the program is successfully completed. Travel and expenses are not included.
Award Recipient’s Responsibilities:
Reimbursement will occur once YCUP receives the recipients
Impact Report. This must be submitted within
60 days of conclusion of the program. After completion of the program, the
recipient will prepare a brief summary of his or her educational experience and
share with YCUP.
The scholarship will apply to the Fall DE programs, set for September & November 2017.
Applications will be accepted between March 1st and April 15th. Recipient will be notified by May 15th.
